heat wave

I think this end of April heat wave is causing my irritability level to drop way below the norm. It's either that, or people are just being VERY inconsiderate today with the noise levels and whatnot.

I have a million and one photos I need to update on Picasa later on tonight. let's see if I get that accomplished...hey add, just because it's nice out doesn't mean you get to be a kid again!

Wow...just WOW

I think I've gotten to a point in my career where I'm very happy. I'm doing my job well and although changes have been made (or are still being made), I'm rolling with the punches. I'm trying not to be "Negative Nancy", complaining about things that I don't agree with and ultimately CAN NOT change. I come in, do my job, laugh with my co-workers and go home.

I look at it this way: I'm extremely fortunate that I still have a job. What gets my goat is that not everyone around me can say the same thing. It kills me. Especially since I can't help. I'm a helper by nature. :)

Now, the ADD has set in and I've gotten distracted. Maybe I'll finish this another day.

Hair: My good friend, Sal. He's been my hairdresser since I was 17, done the hair for all my friends' weddings and offered to do our hair as my gift!

Makeup: My MOH's sister is flying in from California. She is a professional makeup artist!

Jewelry: My mother found some beautiful accessories for me!

Favors: Personalized M&Ms in green and pink. The tins will also serve as the place cards.

Officiant: Our friend Jim. He's my friend Step-Dad. He's a retired minister and is a fantastic man.
